Modern Slavery Statement

New World Timber Limited is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chains.

We take our responsibilities seriously and comply with all applicable employment legislation and human rights standards. This includes ensuring:

  • All staff are employed voluntarily and are entitled to work in the UK.
  • No forced or child labour is used in our operations.
  • Fair pay, working hours, and employment terms are provided in line with UK law.
  • We maintain clear grievance and whistleblowing procedures to report any concerns.
  • Our recruitment and employment practices are founded on equality, dignity, and respect, as detailed in our Equal Opportunities Policy.
  • All employees are issued formal employment contracts and provided with a Staff Handbook outlining their rights and protections.

We expect the same high standards from our suppliers and business partners and will not tolerate abuse of human rights in any part of our supply chain.

This statement is made in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will be reviewed annually.
